Show the lock,
not a promise.
Lock team tokens on a vesting schedule or an LP position until a date. Nobody can pull it early, not even you. Anyone can look it up.

Two kinds of lock
Vesting or a time lock
Set a cliff and an end. Nothing releases before the cliff, then it releases in a straight line until the end. Cliff and end on the same day is a plain time lock. Only the beneficiary can claim.
Liquidity until a date
Lock a Uniswap v3 position NFT. The liquidity stays in the pool, you keep collecting its trading fees, and the NFT comes back only after the unlock date. A lock can be extended, never shortened.
The rules, in the contract
Nothing can release a lock before its time, including the person who made it.
The contract has no admin, no fee and no upgrade. Nobody can change it.
An LP lock can be pushed later. It can never be made shorter.
Every lock is stored in the contract and readable by anyone, here or on the explorer.
Questions
What does it cost?
Nothing but gas. Latch takes no fee.
Can I cancel a lock?
No. That is the point: a holder looking at the lock knows it cannot be pulled.
Who can claim vested tokens?
Only the beneficiary you set. They claim whatever has vested at any time, as often as they like.
Which LP positions work?
Uniswap v3 positions on Robinhood Chain, with fee collection while locked. Any other NFT can be time-locked too, without the fee part.
Audited?
No. The contract is short, has no owner and is tested on a fork of Robinhood Chain with real USDG, WETH and a real Uniswap v3 position. Unaudited software.
